4 years ago: started to pursue animation. Had no idea how, but was dumb enough to dive in head first. Depression and lack of any life skills be damned.

Today: Working full time in animation and even making a project of my own, surrounded by incredibly talented friends and peers. https://t.co/ELORyulpFY

Artwork from my latest animation.

I experimented with adding in photo elements into the main background this time. I felt like it was hard to really capture the disgusting nature of street slush in my own style.

I haven't had time to create anything Christmassy this year, so I thought I'd throw it back to this Father Christmas GIF I made 4 years ago. 🎅

This GIF was my first proper go at frame by frame animation. I'm hoping to dedicate some more time to practising it next year!

Finally doing some character design after finishing up the plot for an animation. What do you think of these?

RESPECT ANIMATION.

Sometimes you don't need a lot of dialogue in order for the audience to understand what's going on.

Let the animation speak for itself.

The best superhero stories I've seen outside of the comics themselves have ALL been animated. The definitive Batman for me has been in animation. Some of the best storytelling is animated & It deserves to be respected just a much as any other medium.

RESPECT ANIMATION

RESPECT ANIMATION.

It's a very unique way of filmaking that deserves just as much respect as movies that are done in live-action.

Respect Animation. Case in point: many animated films should have also been nominated for Best Picture.
