The lines with shading / lighting give me life ;;;
Think I'm gonna do it like this from now on- cause by the end of the flat colours process IM READY to be done. This way I'll have more energy when getting to those pages and it won't be as gut wrenching LOL

then I select a color at a time > duplicate it > select the flat color and do a couple shading passes using multiply for shadows, add for highlights, and screen for bounce light. I just copy the flat color and work with that for all layers, regardless of how good or bad it looks
