Yuri looks more expressive in XV, my only complaint is that you can hardly notice the braid. I think they could have done something closer to this alternative skin from SNK Heroines.
The hairstyle looks more natural, and not as if she has short hair with a braid attached.

Here's the process, rough pencils first, then inks, then splat on some colours, then tidy up the mess just enough. Trying to keep it feeling expressive and tactile, but adding enough detail for it to be finished.
