i've seen it has to do mostly with the texture the image has. Since the marker brush often works to make the aspect, and of course theres the need to not use things such as effects with layer modes. i tried doing something of the sorts once, it works similar for watercolor too

Interesting aspect about PI. The constant π = 3.14 was investigated while measuring the circumference of the circle. But when you square the π- i.e. π* π = 9.85 which is the gravity of earth. How is gravity related to PI ? It is curious question.
