biggest difference I see using both twitter and tumblr as an artist is that on here I need to remember to repost this every Friday if its gonna get any new traction, but on tumblr people circulate the original post all over again every Friday and it's still accumulating notes

When I compare Neo-Precisionism to these pieces, the first big difference is that the old ones feel hand drawn while Neo-precisionism is digitally native. Since the vast majority of art is now digital, the hand drawn aspect makes Precisionism feel a bit outdated.
