One of the things that confused me about Bionicle growing up, during 2005 (IMO one of the weakest years), is how there were flashbacks inside of flashbacks.

2004-2005 were already flashback years, but spent time giving backstory comics for Roodaka & Toa Hagah, hard to comprehend

There’s like two main types of shading, shade gradient and cell shading. Cell shading is what I do and that’s typically a harder shade/highlight common in comics and cartoons. Shade gradient is harder imo and mimics real life shading. I can help better with Cell

this scene revealed multiple abilities that the viewer in unaware of until now. It shows Kiyo is a skilled fighter and he’s much smarter than what his test results show. You have a tense moment mixed in with learning more about Kiyo and what’s he’s capable of. Good change imo(3)
