The best superhero stories I've seen outside of the comics themselves have ALL been animated. The definitive Batman for me has been in animation. Some of the best storytelling is animated & It deserves to be respected just a much as any other medium.

I don't think I'll ever get over the Leviathan attack from Atlantis: The Lost Empire. In my opinion, this is easily one of the most intense and epic scenes I've ever seen in animation.

From the size of this monster to the inner struggles within the submarine. I LOVE this film.
