For irises: Clip a layer and make a pupil. Then add another layer (unclipped) to make an outline, use a darker color. Then clip a layer again, pick a color between those two and shade half of the iris, leave the tips faded.

10. With a layer on top of the outline, if you want to paint line-less, use color picker and paint over the lines. Edges are usually darker because of shape and how light scatters on skin.
