I would suggest studying on POV angles. References from comic books or manga are really good for this kind of stuff, the more you practice on it and look at it, the better.

i then did a sketch with a bit of variation and a sketch of the basic shapes so i knew what i wanted to emphasize in the character sketch thingie. it's almost all triangles because triangles make characters look unstable & energetic & are commonly used for villains

Welp, i did dynamic poses of him too but didnt get the right feel so here 2 headshots, i have hard time keeping someone to look the same in different angles so take it as practice, did i achieved it or not- another story 🙃

I use a circle to help me determine where the thumb is.

Its body is mostly see through. It hides by entering shadows and only come out at night. If you see floating red and blue triangles, that means it’s hiding nearby.
