9/31 - Xenopus tropicalis (Western/tropical clawed frog)

With its cousin - Xenopus laevis, this is one of the swimming "chonks" of developmental biology, neuroscience, cell biology, toxicology, ecology and many more areas. Also, I look like this when I wear brown. 🐸🤎

I realized it’s been a while since I’ve drawn this character, looking back at my old piece I can definitley see the areas I’ve improved in:) much better proportions and more accurate limbs as well as more natural flowing posing:)

Lapwing dragons are highly territorial and will attack anything that dares to get too close regardless of the size. They prefer open areas from fields to parking lots and have learned that crops and grocery bags abandoned by people fleeing in terror are a great source of food.

Now I block in light and shadow zones roughly - and thinking about which areas will be hit by the light and which zones are facing in the opposite direction. After that, it's mostly just rendering and putting in all the details - but I think the gif explains better :D (5/6)
