Was looking at some redraws from a while back and maybe it'd be cool to do a redraw again... maybe of one of these or maybe of a different picture...

(both redraws were done in 2012, original sisters pic 2007, original girl in front of tv pic 2009 I THINK...)

Ajax the Great & Ajax the Not to Great. (Yes, I'm a Monty Python fan). Both fought the Trojan war. Both ended poorly.
2 designs I recreated from bronze shield straps dedicated to Zeus in his temple in Olympia.
Details of individual stories with each picture.

Since I have nothing useful to tweet today... have my first-ever prize-winning picture. No, seriously. This is Mult1C0rN, who won me the "Bad OC" contest at at the weekend. Accompanying char background too long for a tweet but will go on the blog in a few days. :P

I love how the two FF7R Ultimania book covers are front and back perspectives of the same picture. So pretty 🥺

Had a spin with my smallest recorded size, a little bottle filling me out pretty nicely. 1st place however goes to being so kind enough to take me out for some ice cream. =w= was kind enough for the picture.

So, I started to look for references, because I don't really know how Miku looks. I always avoid observing her every time I see her picture. So I started with ponified Hatsune Miku. This is my first art of Hatsune Miku.

im also completely capable to not use references at all so i dont wanna hear no "it stunts your growth!!!1!"

the left pose is traced from one of my own photos, the right i didnt have so much as a single reference picture. the difference? one took an hour, another took THREE.

Today I decided to take a break from the usual cartoon style and instead try to draw the anime style with this picture.

What's fun is seeing how art changes over the years. I created Xavier in 2010, which is the last picture, then drew him again in 2018 (2nd picture), now today in 2021, the 1st picture. One of my protectors of time that I created, I might draw the other 2 more.
