My was pretty wild. I got to be in 9 (!!!) zines I didn't expect to get accepted to, and finally got back to enjoying painting again after years of post-grad funk.

Still have lots to learn, but I'm looking forward to exploring new images in 2020.

I didn't draw much this year, but I can tell I improved at least a little bit.
That's good enough for this year, but in 2020 I'm hoping to put out not only more art but improve them too!😄

Wildly underestimated how much I made this year. I made my ""first"" original character, sorta perfected the Lysol Jones-esque style I've been working on, got pretty good at digital painting, and illustrated a comic! On top of my first inktober. Lots of progress.

2019 has been a wonderful year for art. Learned to use Photoshop (thank you bestie 😙) and have done lots of style experimentation I hope to continue in 2020! For now, realism draws me (and I draw it hopefully...? Hohoho 🎅)

Oh man, time for huh? The year my art truly picked up. I know I don't say it often, but I want to thank every one of you who admires my art and inspires me to keep going. Without this platform, I would have never started!

Each year, my goal for the next stays the same – just keep developing to my own best nature.
I kept learning, failed forward, and let go of some unhealthy mindset. And next year, I want to finally concentrate on this graphic novel that’s been on my mind for so long.

It was a tough year, full of mental turmoil & also full of progress. As hard as it was, I’ve developed so much this year. As a person mostly. I’m very grateful for this year, and cannot wait for 2020.
