Day 9 of my pairing event, Sorey and Mikleo from Tales of Zestiria. This one's mostly for a friend who's absolutely in love with these two but I like them too. My experiment was using photos to pull out a palette. It really made me realize I default to coloring too saturated.

Yup, made some more.
This is the possessed soldier from DUSK. Both in their original color scheme (if a bit more saturated) as well as my version made to fit the rest of the grunts better.

my like... colour palette has changed so much lmao. I use really desaturated colours compared to my old stuff.

Also my 3 original ocs (not counting when I had wolf ocs for like a year to fit in with friends because they refused to draw humans... lol)

messy designs! I don’t like the tiefling the yellow is too saturated on mobile but the other two turned out well

Multiply seems to work quite well in shadows, provided the applied color isn't too strongly saturated (then colors start to look "dirty"). But other than that, the color change looks pretty promissing. Good call!

Hello, I just followed you today and your art is very beautiful and "Filipino" haha reminds me of my dad's painting, but anyway..

I'm ninu I like drawing characters (mostly girls) in cartoon and anime-ish styles. I like using warm unsaturated colors and that's it.
