Social media is too time-consuming (particularly with Twitter AND Instagram) and I have so many things to focus on that I'm gonna reduce my presence to make it viable: sometimes there will be days when I don't post

great advice din ung trying diff mediums. i went from trad to digital and i remember being focused on finding a brush and style that was identical to how i draw with highlighters: textured, blocky and opaque, and that's now a big part of my process
I think that was the starting point of my style coalescing. The focus on detail and chiaroscuro hasn't changed much in the last 5 years
Then I returned to the realism look for the Disney Women series. I think I was really focused on getting it 'right' (whatever that definition was at the time), and the brushy finish was still too rough for my taste
For this year, I decided to keep a more comfortable tempo for myself. I'll try to focus more on personal art in my free time rather than taking new commissions. Not everyone will be happy with this decision, but hope you will understand. Thank you!
