Well namely the idea comes from the fact how in the 1950's companies tried to market the idea that if you were female you should be societally driven to buy a toy that is carefully colored pink and this remained the norm roughly up until the 1990's.

Although she's a love demon, she's fixated on the idea of being loved by whoever she preys upon, so she isn't very experienced. Her hardheadedness and lack of charisma don't do her any favors.
