im trying a different method of render to try and make my colours more harmonic and cohesive but im not sure if trusting the process, or my styles level of details lends well to it. thoughts ??

Not sure this is helpful, but my dragons are basically weird dinosaurs, often based on outdated dinosaur reconstructions, so their skulls reflect that.

And there you are. I wasn't sure when I started whether all the effort would be worth it, but I had a lot of fun.
The hardest part was figuring out how to give Shadow so many soft expressions, since he's mostly all edgy grump. But I think I did well for the most part.
