All-out-attack Carla!
She was initially designed to be an OC of the Plants vs. Zombies universe, so she holds a lot of references from the games with her 🌻👌

Today is Respect for the Aged Day in Japan!

Masahiro Sakurai's parents initially didn't actively support his dream of becoming a video game designer. However, after several Kirby games, Sakurai came home to find a bunch of Kirby goods in his parents house.

I was initially pretty cold on the Link's Awakening Remake, but I've since warmed up to it. Now I'm absolutely looking forward to playing it when it comes out later this week. To commemorate the occasion, I drew my favorite character in the game, Marin.

I still really love Luvi's original design, sometimes I forget that I'm the one who initially drew him and I get happy at how far that went

🔹Mejiro McQueen

As one of the Mejiro family's pedigrees, she has a strong sense of pride though she is quite gullible and easily convinced. She may initially seem as a blunt and cold person, but she actually cares about others and will offer help when needed.

I initially dug up all kinds of old stuff/WIPs I'd forgotten about. Traditional paintings, watercolors, etc but That stuff is not me anymore so I stuck to stuff that I'd be found doing more of in the near future.

I'll post some of that old stuff randomly 🤫

Not the outfit I initially planned for her, but I figured she also needs a casual outfit for off-action times.

Here's a process for one of my drawings. This one was experimental because I drew it in black and white initially and got to focus on values. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Side by side comparison of before/after today's progress. I initially got too carried away with the sculpt part, making some elements way too forward projecting for a ground tile. Still lots of work to do though!

sidenote; they're called angels bc they tend to swim belly-up in dark waters, & their stomachs produce a glow that sailors initially mistook for 'angels' reaching out for them from the depths.

Sketch Series : Doe X Mage 4/4

Arcane Mage

Probably the one I worked on the longest and enjoyed the most. Took up most of the canvas too. I wanted to initially make it feel less menacing but the colors felt right this way by the end.
