At a time when dress was so expensive, gowns sometimes were created with removable pieces to convert it for different uses. Here, the bottom sleeves & hood were likely removable. The gown would then be worn with an indoor-appropriate stomacher in place of this waistcoat-like one.

Miss: Tail-bow, bowtie, puffy sleeves, haircut, wrong hat face, "paws", proportions?.
An ok drawing, The arm doesn't make sense. Overall I did remember how dejiko looks but it looks like a bootleg dejiko.

I keep going back and fourth between the old/new versions of this outfit's sleeves. First is cute, but inaccurate in a lot of ways(time period, way it was made, getting in the way in a fight). Second is more practical, but isn't as cute. 😒
