Captain Britain, Rictor, Shatterstar, Gambit, Rachel Summers, Bei the Blood Moon, Gloriana, and two more surprise characters assemble to recover an artifact deeply rooted in X-Men history in KNIGHTS OF X by @TiniHoward & @RobotJQ

We kick off today’s episode GUSHING over the fire that @pepelarraz and @martegracia brought to X-Men 6. Where are you on Captain Krakoa? It’s a really interesting new layer to the resurrection story. How many new Krakoan mutants can join before the flatscans get curious? 🤔 #XMen
YES, LET'S FIX SLOTT'S PLOT PLEASE
it was so petty of him to write that mess RIGHT after FF/X-Men grrrrrrr
I'd love to see a #NewXMenAcademyX omnibus. X-Men Unlimited 42, New Mutants (v2) 1-13, New X-Men: Academy X 1-20, New X-Men: Hellions 1-4, & of course the New X-Men: Academy X Yearbook Special. These kids meant so much to me. RT w your favorite NX:AX kid.
Anyway I hope Armor finds a place in either New Mutants or X-Men Red; Ewing had her up in the S.W.O.R.D. Station but didn’t do much with her. Monet might fit in well with the Marauders, but I’d like a good solo for her even if it’s a limited series.
Classic superhero comic fans need to stop mooning over Big 2 comics like a catty jilted lover. “Ugh, have you seen who’s writing X-Men now?” “Why can’t DC see that their new fans can’t appreciate them the way I can?” “Ooh, I can’t wait to see Marvel fail without me.” Enough! 1/2
...issue that felt most superfluous to include, but felt important as an almost-bridge between this and our next, Xavier-less era of mutant stories.
As we begin to close out, our final pre-Massacre inclusions are UXM #208-209. The alliance between Hellfire and X-Men felt like...
...looked like for anyone who might be looking for similar recommendations!
My goal was to not just put together a framework for understanding the X-Men, but also for highlighting the parts of their story that made Krakoa feel as triumphant as it did when we all arrived in 2019.
It’s all goods if she doesn’t win the X-Men election, but I just hope Angelica is used at least in another book so she can start showing up more.
