Just wanted to share some process of how I do my art. On this particular one, I learned Zbrush with and to create the image. (image in comments) . It took many hours for me but Zbrush is now a staple in my workflow! More to come.

pretty sure 2013 (or the next) was the year i did hade as a mspfa comic, due to this image. the story was basically nonexistent and the image hosting site died so all the images are lost so this is all you get!

I took advice from an engineering friend of mine, who humoured my demented propositions and offered more plausible solutions. The first image shows the worm drive (🪱❗️), which made it in, unlike the planetary gear in the last image. A great shame as they are the gear king.
