The cover of BLOOD DEBTS does indeed give historical vibes, but this story is not historical, it’s a contemporary fantasy set in NOLA in the summer of 2019. The outfits Clem and Cris are wearing on the cover reference the climax scene, where they’re dressed up for ✨reasons✨.

Explanation the concept of Yuu's Dorm Uniform and the un-groovy card ↓

This wasn't taken on Ramshackle Dorm, but the house on Lonesome Ghosts. Even though it was never stated by the official, Lonesome Ghosts looks like the closest one to be Ramshackle Dorm's reference.

Sumiyoshi Kizuki illustrated Abra from Team Rocket (2000) and Elgyem from Unified Minds (2019). The artwork references the same tower.

"On top of a high tower overlooking the city.
Two Psychic-type Pokémon appear!"
"Have the Pokémon teleported?"

My advice is thus:
1. Aim for an art style that fits the characters.
2. When drawing realistic art, study photographic references
3. Limit your palette. Drowning in details is the rookie mistake of a novice. You don't need more colors than the picture calls for.

Okage was a defining game for me and the obvious reference should be obvious. Otherwise, tar man is just a cool zombie and black puddings are fantastic terrifying monsters for inexperienced adventurers to have to face down in the corridors of a dark dungeon https://t.co/WkuUWYoD4S

It’s fine to reference art to improve, but that’s not what this is. Referencing the lines wouldn’t match line for line this is just blatant tracing. Do and be better you can draw why trace https://t.co/fz8hue4HMv
