Dwarven noble houses are geometric, angular art deco designs with clan emblems or notable ancestors depicted. Shields for commercial sale are typically just geometric shapes. Heraldry isnt as much of a thing, as a clans design style is considered its coat of arms.

So I've read Volume 3 and 4 of Shield Hero. The story could have ended here, to be honest. The biggest problem is the writing. Constantly going into details on stuff a reader would already know. Naofumi is a complicated character to root for past Vol 1.
