In Tite Kubo's official color art, Rangiku's hair color is blonde but it was made orange for the original anime. In the new "TYBW" anime, Kubo involved and made sure it was the correct color.

I think both answers are correct for various reasons but personally I'm more of a purple Bonnie fan, it's just a lovely looking color scheme to me.
People are perfectly entitled to their opinion of preferring blue, but for me I just like it when my Bonnie is purple.

If I remember correctly, we had some issues getting the likenesses of Mulder and Scully cleared. Matt was the current X-Files artist and we were crunching up on deadline. So the editor () was like, “Let’s just have Matt draw them.”
