I ordered a new tablet so when it arrives I'll start working on the Marissa Garlicia vs buff Bear girl picture.
The basic sketches of it look like this, a bit crude but it'll be refined for sure.

Trigun:Stampede is an odd story because it expands the the set-up of Vash and Knive's relationship but does not have the same weight despite spending more time than the 90s anime.

I felt like I had a better understanding of Knives' character in the 90s anime than TriStamp

The Wind Rises is up there as one of my fav Ghibli films.

I don't really "like" Ghibli films but I'm deeply interested in Hayao Miyazaki as an auteur. This movie is probably the most literal of all of his works to the point I would call it unabashedly "selfish"
