Its 100% copy and tracing when you can put the images on top of each other and not see much of a diff.

Something i had to do for school. The goal was to take this illustration and turn it into pixel art by shrinking it and limiting the color palette using Photoshop. I dont have PS so i traced it and picked the colors myself :T

i didn’t even have a tablet when i first did this. i used my window as a lightbox and traced my drawing over and over before taking a pic with my phone and bringing the linework into photoshop where i finished it with my touchpad. can’t be too hard on myself haha

I can't believe it's been more than 10 years since my very first digital art. I did it just to get a better final grade at IT classes (which were more about drawing in Paint than doing anything IT related). I first did a drawing with pencils, then traced it and coloured on my pc.
