I thought so too. For I while I interpreted her as following in Rose's footsteps, learning about Earth and loving it, interest in human relationships, growing plants and crops etc. Then there's her admiration towards Amethyst and later relationship with Lapis.

UPDATE: finally killed the alien thing.

All it took was a grenade and a flamethrower. Unfortunately this means i can't bring Ven that cadaver.

So i snagged some weird looking phosphorescent moss from the lab for him to make up for it.
