As well, the oval shaped variant has become so popular it needs its own post. If I lumped these in with the last, like I did for Kanto, that group would make up nearly 25% of the region. (compared to the 8% that it did in Gen 1)

This is interesting. Both of these were from the same outline I drew back in July. Today, I stripped the colours and shading from the original and re-did it to compare the two and see how I’ve improved over nearly 3 weeks of practice and learning to draw digitally.

- Left is 0 photo, just a gesture from my head
- Center I used a photo but needed more time with 1 of the hands compared to the other
- Right I did the whole process for, esp style

I tried, I really did. It's not as fun to me as the 2D Metroid games and it never will be. It doesn't even feel like it belongs in the same series. It's solid enough mechanically but it's just so bland and stock compared to the 2D games.

The best feeling is when you notice the great difference and development in your drawings... My drawing and coloring two years ago was very bad compared to my drawing now.
