been playing around with the oil brush settings and im going to start incorporating it into my workflow from now on and use it for most of the beginning stages of the paintings and then save the rendering for the opacity brush

Thanks for the reply! I made these gloves with 3DSMAX and to avoid clipping, there is no hand mesh inside them. I've been tweaking with settings in MD (such as particle distance) but still no luck :(
