I finished watching this anime yesterday and it left me somewhat disenchanted. I found the story very difficult to follow. I didn't know who was trying to do what or why. The art style is good, though. I also like a handful of the characters. Maybe season 2 will be better.

It bothers me a little when it obviously resembles a domestic pet IRL. Only time I am somewhat okay with it is if the feral creature is OBVIOUSLY fictional ( Example is being a species like the Synax, which I'll put a picture of below)

Still, feral dog/cat stuff is icky to me.
