Yeeeah... 16-17... My art was not great but I was trying my hardest for someone who was not interested in art before then. I was doing a good job! <3 I am glad I didn't give up :)
KEEP TRYING YOU GUYS!!! If you enjoy drawing that is LITERALLY all that matters and I support you! https://t.co/n5eS1u8ZQp
I am always insecure for about my art till now, but the only thing that keeps me going is that I had fun and at least I got better lol
My arts during that I was 16-17 years old https://t.co/VW4jJTb6C8

Saw talks about a post floating around saying 16-17 year olds should “quit” if their art isn’t good. My work looked like this when I was 16-17, it is NEVER too late to work on your craft and improve!
There’s a post floating around that’s like “if you’re 16-17 and your art’s not good, give up.” The first pic is my art from when I was 16 and the other two are now. I’m here to tell you to not give up and keep working at it! I love seeing artists flourish and grow 💜✨
@Random_Blorper My work when I was 16-18 years old vs now (20)
People said to me that I wasn’t meant for this when I was younger but I didn’t give up! Please,PLEAAASE keep on drawing and working, even if you are 17 or older don’t loose hope and you’ll go far
bout to expose how young I am lmao
top = 16-17, bottom = 19 (current) https://t.co/J3gXeEftml
@chelseakenna Character ref from age 16-17 or so vs. the same character 10-11 years later. If you like doing art, just do it, you will improve over time.
I saw that stupid tweet saying that if you're 16-17 and your art is 'still bad', you should give up
The only thing I have to say about that is that this is what my art looked like when I was 16 🤠
The jumpscare seeing this persons Joe Hawley pfp gave me, common Joe Stan L (/j)
anyways don't listen to them here's my art from when I was 16-17 vs art from this year https://t.co/nz1kNtCxj1
@chelseakenna Bro I started at 12 of COURSE it was still bad at 16-17!
(2018 vs. 2022)
A drawing I did at 17 VS a drawing I did at 35.
I saw that "if you aren't a pro artist by 16-17, you should give up" tweet and it made me do this comparison.
This is my improvement from 15-16-17-19 (we don’t talk about 18 the pandemic was rough) when I was 16 I was still trash, but look how much that changed. I still have a lot to improve on yes, but time is very important to improving. Give yourself time. https://t.co/UI4noA4I0z
@ArtissiJam Thank you! I tend to draw a lot of glowy and intense shading. These are some of my most recent. I was completely dogshit when I was 16-17, also I'm still learning how to draw people.
I didn't spent all my childhood drawing and I never went to an art class. I would just watch cartoons and try to draw them or from video games character stuff. Note that these are all vector art done in flash. I was 16-17. 3/
In light of a recent tweet, I would like to present:
Something I drew at 16-17 in 2012 vs something I drew at the end of 2020
It's worth it to keep going, I never dreamed I would be able to do the things I do now ❤
Artists, never stop creating!
i suck at it too and i am pretty honest about it. i'm over 16-17 and i know too well that art is not meant for me but at least i have fun doing it so i'll keep doing art even though my art is literally 3rd grade level.
here is some of my 3rd grade level arts anyway :> https://t.co/fWaa9y18rD
There’s a stupid thread going around saying basically if you’re not great at art at 16-17, then give up. One of the most insane takes I’ve ever seen. The left is me at 24 and the right is me at 29. Don’t pay attention to anyone telling you to stop.
that one post abt 16-17 yo's having really bad art, lmao its clear you don't know me 🤭
