Pretty late to the party but, I swear episode 22 of 86 - Eighty Six should deserve an award as the best episode (and anime) of the YEAR. The way it was directed, the buildup, the character growth like holy shit the wait was really worth it.

I think this anime is objectively good, but it wasn't for me. I didn't dislike it, but I also didn't love it. The plot was too confusing and the MC so boring🙃 I love Kirihara, tho. There's a sequel, probably won't watch it.

BL is a genre that I watch/read waiting for the end, but it's usually one of the least interesting parts. Sasaki and Miyano (anime) was no different.

Despite the clichés, and not exploring the fudanshi culture as much as I would like, the anime is still cute and recommendable.
