As a tip try not to use airbrush a lot :] it works good in certain situations like soft lighting for a sun but it looks very overused in your art.

Try using a regular pen to fill in your shade like this. Hard lighting, only use airbrush if you want to erase from your shading.

tonight i used fan art to test a lazy way to add light/shadow to my (new layer -> color entire drawing blue -> color burn -> transparency 40 -> erase with a big soft brush) and now all my friends think im cooler and more hireable
