I LOVE these shots from LotF because you're seeing them from Kiana's perspective. Mei's eyes are obscured in her pov until Mei breaks down. Mei's emotions are no longer a mystery to Kiana anymore, and Kiana has to face the reality that she pushed the woman she loves to her brink.

Jaguar likes to move fast & Sloth likes to go slow. Each tries out one another's speeds & while they ultimately prefer their own ways, they learn to respect one another differences in the process. I love the subtle reminder to try out another perspective. @charlesbridgepublishing

& self-portraits are so fascinating to me. It is a very intimate resource that has been used for the longest time and, like art styles, each artist has a unique and often very raw perspective.
