Italian Popeye comics had Swee'Pea's feet visible in his sleep sack?!
In a crossover nobody expected, #Popeye meets #Goku from #DragonBall in a piece of artwork from @marcusthevisual.

Name: Nori "noodle arms"
A seaweed alien lady that lives among humans during Prohibition era, undercover as handy port henchmen, she drinks the "human medicine" Cod liver oil, to recover energy (like spinach for popeye)

@GreatLange Need I remind you Mega Man was literally inspired by Astro Boy, and his first game was originally supposed to be a licensed tie-in, similar to how Donkey Kong was almost a Popeye game.
Never putting him in the comic, but here's my version of Popeye Jr.
Been going through them chronologically and the less interesting entries tend to the ones where he's dealing with a little pest (though he at least handles that lame premise with more dignity than Popeye or Donald ever did), but I love the backgrounds in Pink Pest Control.
