But I love all sorts of humour in anime and, due to the medium, does gentle slapstick style *very* well. Some humour moments in my writing *would* translate to anime, but probably not most.

Some of you have probably seen Bow in some toony commissions I've gotten from others. The idea behind him is that he's a Tom and Jerry style toon, in that he's very human in lifestyle and demeanor, but can't talk, and is fully based in slapstick.

The Pokémon SM anime can go from slapstick to hitting you emotionally like a truck as if nothing, it's great. I like how they fleshed out some characters that felt underdeveloped in the games.

Oh, and it also gave us young Wicke as an Aether grunt so there's that.
