The storming of San Sebastian took place 31 August 1813. Thomas Graham's forces of British & Portuguese troops ran from trenches & into the breach. It led to the Peninsular War reaching the Pyrenees & France.

The city was sacked despite officer's attempts to stop it.

Baldridge was a frontline artist during World War I. He worked for several newspapers reporting on life in the trenches. He also traveled the world, illustrating different cultures and lifestyles. 🎨
