I'm just a few days away from the end of a 6-month break on Yu-Gi-Oh! (because Konami decided to jump onto the scam train), but it's a damn shame to learn of Kazuki Takahashi's passing. Amazing artist who brought the fun of not just card games, but tabletop in general, to many.
Its clear to me that I’m just going to have Yu-Gi-Oh! on the mind for a while due to today’s unfortunate news, so I thought I’d highlight a few podcasts for people to listen to for those who want to celebrate Takahashi’s legacy.

as a final statement, I want to say: Check out Yu-Gi-Oh! if you haven't already! If your interested in card game manga but not one thats "overtly anime" then check out Yu-Gi-Oh! OCG Structures! A new, still in production, manga about a kid going to locals!
I am deeply sadden to hear the passing of Kazuki Takahashi, the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh!. I grew up with this franchise playing the card game, watching the anime, and reading the manga. He gave us something truly amazing and his legacy will live on forever. #RipKazukiTakahashi

Yu-Gi-Oh! has always been present in my life, filling the hearts of my friends and I with boundless joy. It is the cornerstone of some of my happiest memories. I am so thankful for Kazuki Takahashi-sensei and the wonderful world that he gifted us. His legacy will live on forever.
Some of you know my childhood was extremely rough, and, silly as it sounds, Yu-Gi-Oh! - the manga, anime, the card game, the little community of nerds like me, was one of the few good things I had going on in my life then.
So, thank you, Kazuki Takahashi, and rest in peace.
@KingNarukami45 actually, no. i take it back. THIS is my favorite moment in yu-gi-oh!
I am so heartbroken to hear the passing of Kazuki Takahashi, the mangaka of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.
Not only were the monsters he designed and created were so memorable, but the stories and characters he got to tell. As cheesy as friendship can be in a… https://t.co/dPb1l4AbIs
UDON has had the chance to work on several Yu-Gi-Oh! publishing and creative services projects over the years. Sad to hear of the passing of the property's creator, Kazuki Takahashi.
