A recent commission I did for a DnD character! A lot of fun learning how to render those feathers.

Oh, and the white cat girl is the character who, after nearly two decades of metamorphosis, became Lyrique Fey. This gal, protagonist of Dragonfeathers.

So here are the images of BB I'm going to use for the next installment of Pens & Feathers...which will be, obviously, drawing her. You can see the other episodes at https://t.co/MuNgNcLWeV

I always wondered what Byleth would look like as a dragon...I imagine he’d have two heads since he charges a body and heart with Sothis...he looks more like Seiros but has Macuil’s feathers.

So I read that some aasimar have small feathers where wings should be... and I know over stressed birds self mutilate their feathers...
Amelia is a quite stressed person falling back to old bad habits.

Given the uncertain position for Megaraptorans in the theropod family tree, I added some feathers. Either it's a reduced basal coelurosaurian/tyrannosauroid feather coat or it's speculative filaments developed in derived allosauroids, take yer pick

oniko is probably the most complicated character cuz of all the secondary animation on the coat and feathers. took me a while to figure out what to do with those features

yea no big boy feathers. It throws off the focal point and doesn't fit well with the color scheme

“although a good swordsman, his main weapon is the bow; he [bloodraven] has a tall longbow made of weirwood, and fires weirwood arrows fletched with raven feathers. he is, by repute, a sorcerer. sharp features, vaguely sinister.”

Argonauts nº 15:

Following Phineas advice, Jason let a dove to fly between the rocks. Luckily, the dove lost only its tail feathers. The Argonauts rowed powerfully to get through losing only the stern of their ship. From that time the rocks never closed again. ⛰🌊⛰

Sinosauropteryx prima was a dinosaur that had a banded tail & a racoon-like mask over the eyes. It was the first non-avian dinosaur discovered with direct evidence for feathers.
