Delighted to share my opensea collection of 1/1 paintings, 'Cusoon' . This series of works is an attempt to explore the relationship between the foreground and background images.

With this landscape, I returned to my earlier theme of seeing the landscape as a patchwork of fields. The strongly coloured foreground has a sense of the recession of plough lines but is really a great excuse for having fun with colour and pattern! https://t.co/hpZwoJG0tL

Here it is without the foreground for those who would prefer a simple clean

Working on the background and foreground was a pain so I am done for the day. Eula

Reposting since the background/foreground looked unfinished imo, added some flames and now it looks better! Now I've finished, I think at least! 🐢🔥✨

Remade my Zombie Island piece from 2019. I got rid of the green lighting since it kept conflicting with the foreground so I opted to keep it blue and moody with faint hints of green.

Mmm-hm. Their facial structures vary depending if they're background or foreground characters, or even if they're comic relief characters.

But overall is they're female leads or meant to last more than one graphic novel, they're more likely to look closer to humans.

Which foreground is better?

🔸 'LIKE' for 'Deep Blue'
🔸 'RT' for 'CTJR luxury'

And of course, speedpaint! Did some different and new stuff with the lineart here, and tried out some fun foreground/background tricks. Nabbed a couple images off google for the main background and the foliage, since that's what I did for the original anyways, lol.

At long last, I'm working on this again. (I think it's too texturey but I'm not going to change it. I really like how it looks beyond the texture-y ness on the foreground elements.) I want to fix up my nose and maybe a couple things on Moe and then I'll color them \o/

I’m gonna try this again! I took a bit of a break but I’m a queer latinx background artist from NY
(3rd image foreground by Erin O’Connor/cloud by me (WIA Mentorship Assignment ))
