I started w/ some keywords and colors: cute techwear, soft pop, streetwear, soda, pastel pink + mint + white (my vtuber Iro's color scheme), triangles, boxy shapes. I started with rough sketches + cleaner iterations of the batwing jackets since they were my centerpiece
@inkfycreates In my experience variety is unnecessary. After years of iteration and finding what I gravitate to: this has become my standard template character body type. And it's been doing my art business wanders. 93% of all my clients ask that I use my standard proportions.
@afoolsdeath_ This character's been through a lot of iterations. Bard in a P&P game, a Sonic-based superheroine in City of Heroes, and most recently I just started playing FF14 with her as an Archer (eventually a bard if the plan - to go full circle)

i still wanna improve my iteration of Starfire
At first, it was based on three friends (which can be family too). We made a few iterations and style changes but we ultimately settled on the dad and kids one.
Here are some early iterations of the outfit! We mostly went with C, but added a shoulder cape in the end.

Also with the other thing, I made a seperate iteration of a Pizza Tower Miku parody design that was supposed to fit way more with the aesthetics and stuff.
All of this was cause of an old interview.
Spectacular Spider-Man is my all-time favorite iteration of the character. I really hope he makes an appearance in the Spider-Verse films, even if it’s just a brief cameo.
I can’t stop thinking about this piece from Chris Van Allsburg’s Jumanji. THIS is art. There’s so many little aspects that could only be thought up through the iteration of a human hand!
I was thinking with the previous iteration "This is too dark."
So I re-arranged the colors and have this - which I'm much more pleased with.
