The Blue Men of the Minch or Storm Kelpies are blue-skinned men that inhabit the ocean between mainland Scotland and the northern Inner Hebrides. They conjure storms, sink ships & drown sailors and may be seen jumping in the water or sleeping below the surface.

Kelpies are shapeshifting water spirits who lure people into lakes & drown them. The Scottish folktale "The Kelpie & the Ten Children" is a cautionary tale of children lured onto a beautiful horse's back, only for the horse to jump into a lake.

Tysm for the tag & for hosting! I've been doing a mix of doing studies, commission work, taking a break & stepping out of my comfort zone to try new things! It's been fulfilling so far! How's your week been?

Btw, I love unicorns. Orthrus, nekomata & kelpies are awesome too. :D

me and did a collab! We both drew a sketch of a monster girl, then the other did lines and colors. Juliet sketched the kelpie-centaur and I sketched Kuchisake-Onna. I think they both turned out great!
