@mmarcirose i notice you usually have purple shadows and like a pale yellow color for highlights! its a solid choice, but sometimes it can muddy up other colors or wash them out? i notice it more with the highlight colors, but the purple sometimes makes the skin a bit dull?
I used to be able to color and draw like this?! O: It's a little muddy but I'm still impressed by myself ahaha.

Finished an emote batch commission recently too. Think I'm coming into a bit of comfort zone in the sort of style and level of detail I can squeeze into them without being too muddy or anything. Really liking this one, even if simpler elements.

2011 vs 2022. This was an early “painting” attempt that I remember being really proud of back in the day. This was my edgy drawing period and my colors were so muddy. I’m still not great at digital painting but we’ve come a long way. 💪
