1 hour color study... this was a simple subject and I got all the values right haha... :p I always tend to keep the sketchy lines coz I feel they add a bit of drama and pop to the piece 😌

2016 was my Final Fantasy era and I experimented a lot with a more painterly-style, which didn't really stick because it was too much effort xD
but I think it helped push my art in the direction I wanted

oh this is a great take on the art share

for me it was this master study (right), original by Karla Ortiz (left). It helped me polish my composition and brushwork in card art with a more painterly feel
