The Rinpa School, Edo Period (1603-1867), Japan specialized in works that were decorative & highly intellectual, referencing classic literary works of the Heian/Kamakura Periods. Stylistically, they mixed 2D forms w 3D areas created by tarashikomi, a wet-on-wet technique. 1/4

Alt pics: I think I prefer these ones stylistically, but I'm way too proud of the Konbini I drew as a bg. Let me know which you like (also sorry for the cheesy line 🙇‍♂️ )

イントロ聴いただけでヴァン・マッコイだとわかります。大袈裟過ぎるぐらいのメロディもいとおかし。後半の盛り上がりがいいのに意外と早いフェードアウトが残念なのです。

Stylistically this reminds me somewhat of Giger, but with the flat perspective and multifaceted storytelling of Bosch. Twitter does the dirty on super complex images like this, so here are some details:

For example, I created these two based on the same sketch- of course shading style effects form too so this isn't a perfect showcase of stylistic differences, but specifically shading differences.

I agree

Being conventionally unappealing isn’t a bad thing either

Not only does it have its own stylistic appeal

Loli, is not a character trait(Specifically in illustration) it's a character aesthetic. The same character can be drawn as a Loli and not as a Loli.
It's a stylistic choice. Also if anyone knows the artist of the first one, DM it please.

Really trying out drawing stylistically. I don't know if it is good, but it has been fun!
