Animated Beachcomber was supposed to debut in the the show's S3 premiere ep, where he would be killed by Shockwave, turning gray and crumbling into dust. The scene was recorded, with Beachcomber being voiced by Tom Kenny, who would provide a surfer type of voice, but was cut.
