I'm curious, what starter Pokémon second stage made you say it looked better than its final? For me it has to be Raboot. Cinderace looked more like a Digimon than a Pokémon. Its colors didn't look right for me. Grovyle comes in 2nd. Don't hate Sceptile, just think its cooler imo.
