Really old art that I wanna redraw sometime, I made this as a tribute to one of my biggest inspirations for Quinn, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind.

I think I could do a much better job with the pose, and especially the background (particularly the sky).

I’m touching it up right now and partway through I was like “I don’t like the placement of one of these hands” and man... if I didn’t already draw like this I would break out in hives

I used to suffer from artblock where I don't draw for months. I found that redrawing something simple or doing a Dtiys where everything (pose, outfit, expresssion) is laid out for you helps keep you in "art mode" and motivation hits back fast
