Hardlight definitely understands what makes a 3D sonic character work, I think a lot of it comes down to them editing the model themselves to make them more expressive and their usage of lighting and textures

3D worm thingy for a project. Not 100% mine. I just edited the head + tentacles and textured the shadow face + patterns.

Well, I did, until blender crashed on me 5 minutes ago and I apparently haven't saved the textures at any point then.

Oh well. Guess I just gotta do it again

there are a bunch of like. normally hidden bones being shown here? plus the textures come in as see-through + with normals i cant use so basically it is. a whole thing. even if it technically works
