A successful colouring practice with a Diablos from my Academy of Men idea. I felt that soft shading works with the reference I used here because the contrast in values weren't so dramatic. The green skintone helps loads because I don't have to deal with human undertones lol

To build a portrait is highly complex. Here I am 3 stages in of building the layers, with another 7-8 to go. I need to think about what result I want at the end by planning the right chroma, values and opaqueness. Every layer is critical in achieving the right result so fingers🤞
