In case anyone wanted to look into it, there's a ttrpg called Lancer.

It's probably the most optimized mecha ttrpg. You play a Ace pilot a lancer the games 50% naritive play (human rp) 50% mecha combat/ tactics.
The charecter building is unique and fun, they even have a web app!
